FACE TYPE GALLERY
Persian cats express the most diverse facial features in the cat fancy.
There are 4 categories: Traditional, Doll, Flat and Extreme
Traditional – characterized by a low nose that protrudes like that of a regular cats.
Doll face – characterized by a nose below the eyes and a profile that protrudes slightly but not as far as a traditional cat.
Flat face – characterized by a nose below the eyes and a flat profile. A lot of kittens that appear doll faced will appear flat as adults due to the facial fluff.
Extreme face – characterized by a nose that is centered between the eyes, whether low or high, and a flat profile.
