In this uncertain and ever changing world, we need to take a “time out” and acknowledge special people who make our lives more comfortable and healthy with less stress.
Roxana Perez, along with her husband, Jason, are just two of the individuals who do exactly that. We “met” Roxana on her website, Ethereal Persians, when we were searching out additional members to bring into our family. Once on the site, we were totally in awe on how beautiful and well groomed these special cats are. Now, our biggest “problem” was in making a selection! After weeks of pondering and family discussions, we decided to not only choose one, but two! Thus Ruby and Muffles soon became part of our family. They have now been part of our household over a year and have brought nothing but laughter and joy into our lives. They both have great dispositions which indicates their initial upbringing by Roxana. Obviously these positive aspects are the results of the diligent and loving work put into raising these beautiful creatures.
Most recently, it was decided that we (mostly Debra!) had a desire to bring additional kittens into our home. It made us an easy decision when both Ruby and Muffles made the request as well!
Again choosing is always difficult thus instead of two, we chose three! We were anxious to actually see the birthplace of all these beautiful creatures, thus we drove the 250 miles to Sarasota. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by their German Shepherd who quickly alerted Roxana and Jason to our presence. What an amazing sight! Surrounded by kittens and cats wherever we walked. Roxana immediately introduced us to our newest additions and at once gave us advice and training on how to give them the utmost care and love.
Boots, Gyro, and little Orisa are now part of our family joining Ruby, Muffles, Licorice (our rescue cat), 4 rabbits, and Snow, our 18 year old Maltese who is certainly staying young at heart entertaining all his newly acquired brothers and sisters!
In closing, we are so grateful to have been introduced to Ethereal Persians and emphatically thank both Roxana and Jason for dedicating their lives to raising these most special and beautiful creatures. Doing this, certainly does make the world a better place to live!
