SILVERS GALLERY
Silver cats are considered one of the most Ethereal color divisions in the fancy. They are also the founding backbone of the golden and blue-golden color division; silver is the genetically dominant color. Silver cats are characterized by a coat that is almost white, tipped in shading that is black or grey. Their coats are two toned and glisten beautifully in the sun as they walk. Most noticeably, silver cats must have green, aqua or turquoise eyes; absolutely no copper. If they have copper eyes, they are a silver tabby; not a purebred silver. Their face should be outlined with black mascara (nose, lip and eye liner), unless they are chinchilla at which point the mascara is often light grey. The fancy feast cat is a shaded silver cat. Silver persians are regal and for a silver fanatic (like us) absolutely breathtaking!Â
